Refunds and cancellations

Eligibility

Refunds depend on how much of the scoped work has started, whether a deposit was paid, and whether custom preparation (source review, draft visuals, stakeholder interviews) has already been delivered.

Timeframe to request

Refund requests should be sent in writing to info@reason-beaconpoint.click within fourteen days of the event that triggers the request (cancellation, missed kick-off, or disputed delivery).

Full and partial refunds

• Full refund of fees paid may apply if we cancel an engagement before kick-off for reasons on our side, or if you cancel in writing more than ten business days before the scheduled kick-off and no preparatory work has begun.
• Partial refund may apply if you cancel after kick-off: we retain fees for work already performed (interviews, source inventory, draft packs) and refund the unused balance of prepaid fees where calculable.

Non-refundable items

Completed briefings after the leave-behind is delivered, finalized visualization packs accepted in a review meeting, and third-party costs already incurred with your written approval (for example room hire for an on-site workshop day) are not refundable.

Deposits

Engagement deposits secure scheduling and source review time. Deposits become non-refundable once preparatory work begins, unless otherwise stated in your proposal.

Rescheduling and no-shows

You may reschedule a kick-off or briefing once without charge if you give at least five business days’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee of up to twenty percent of the briefing fee or the equivalent portion of an engagement. No-shows without notice forfeit the scheduled session fee.

Work already started

Hours spent on reconciliation, draft charts, and stakeholder sessions are billed against the engagement even if you later cancel. We provide a written summary of work completed with any partial refund calculation.

Purchased materials

Printed packs or licensed reference materials bought specifically for your engagement with prior approval are charged at cost and are not refundable once ordered.

Process and timing

Approved refunds are processed within fourteen business days to the original payment method where possible. Bank transfers may take longer depending on your institution.
